FROM THE TRUSTEES
As you probably already know, our CEO Jamie Hale stepped down in October last year after several years in the role. Jamie has shared their thoughts about their time at Pathfinders in a recent blog you can read here.
We’d like to thank Jamie for their time at Pathfinders and for their tremendous impact on the charity. Jamie has always cared deeply about the success of Pathfinders and has helped to grow and maintain our work. Thank you Jamie!
In October, The Board of Trustees took the decision to ask Jon Hastie to step in as interim CEO to manage a period of transition while the trustees considered the next steps. Over the last few months, we have been making some improvements to how we operate, to ensure that we can make best use of the money we raise, with minimal overheads. We’ve also launched our annual survey, to hear from the community about what they want to see from Pathfinders next.
And now, we think it’s the right time to start the recruitment process for a part-time permanent CEO.
The trustees have decided to run an open recruitment process, so that they can be sure they recruit the best person for the job. That means we’ll be accepting both internal and external applications for the role.
We’re looking for someone with a muscle-weakening condition with previous CEO experience, with a true passion for Pathfinders and the work that we do. This role is for 18 hours a week, with flexibility on working days.
